Swamps and Evil Druids

We make our plans to return to the swamp to take out this evil cult, we rest briefly to relearn spells and consult the tea leaves to determine the dragon won’t be there.
We fold in to an area adjacent to the High Druids tent and immediately attack the guards there.
For the next 20 minutes all hell breaks loose.
We are quickly moved out of the tent by the evil druid casting a blade barrier, which he uses as cover.  This knocks the gnome on his arse.
The battles sways back and forth, Carinne takes out the enemy mage single handedly.
Archers on top of the pyramid keep harrying us throughout the combat.
Galvish dies twice.
Barrigan is hit through the back of the neck with an arrow, killing him instantly.  The trajectory and fletching would suggest it came from Carinnes bow, but the half elf clan claim it was from the pyramid.
Galvish and Barrigans deities smile on them and they manage to survive what should have been death blows.
Saeryn and Tarans armor keeps heating up.
Tarans whirlwind of attacks are constantly interrupted by people needing curing and their armor cooling down. Just as we decide to retreat Taran falls unconscious.
Saeryn suddenly starts attacking the dwarf.
Lanneus faces down one after another huge lizard men and shrugs off all the magic attacks the evil druid hurls his way.
Carinne dies after taking one blow too many.
Galvish, who has come back to life again, picks up Carinne and waits for the dimensional fold to appear.
Little is seen of Krachtig, Lanneus claims to have seen him towards the end of the combat with daggers in hand, but no-one else can substantiate this claim, although he does turn up with the enemy mages body.
We retreat to heal up and work out another way to assault this encampment.
