The Horror Continues

Now available: The second wave of painted Arkham Horror Monster Figures

In spite of himself his memory began reconstructing the utterly non-human blasphemies that lurked in the obscurer corners, and these lumpish hybrid growths oozed and wriggled toward him as though hunting him down in a circle. Black Tsathoggua moulded itself from a toad-like gargoyle to a long, sinuous line with hundreds of rudimentary feet, and a lean, rubbery night-gaunt spread its wings as if to advance and smother the watcher.
–H.P. Lovecraft, The Horror in the Museum

Back in January, Fantasy Flight Games unveiled Wave One of the Arkham Horror Monster Figures. Now, we’re proud to announce that Wave Two is now available for sale through our webstore! Joining our line of Arkham Horror Investigators and Monsters, these stunning hand-painted figures will further enhance the visual impact of your favorite Lovecraftian board game. What's more, each monster's base is designed with a slot to accommodate its monster token from Arkham Horror or Mansions of Madness!

The many faces of terror

Wave Two includes twenty-three sanity-shattering creatures and minions with which to challenge your investigators. From the fearsome Werewolf to the single-minded Mummy, from the ethereal Ghost to the massive God of the Bloody Tongue, Arkham Horror Monster Figures will immerse you in cosmic terror.

Each Wave Two Monster Figure is available individually through our webstore, and for those who wish to own the entire wave, a complete set (one of each monster) is also available!

A multipurpose accessory

As practical as they are attractive, Arkham Horror Monster Figures can easily be incorporated into your games of Arkham Horror or Mansions of Madness. Both board games were designed to use the same sized monster token, and in both games, a token’s most pertinent information appears in the same place.

This ingenious design means that whether you plan to use them in Arkham Horror or Mansions of Madness (or both), Arkham Horror Monster Figures provide a multipurpose accessory. For example, after randomly drawing a Mummy from your Arkham Horror monster cup, simply insert its token into the base of your painted Mummy figure. Showing through the top of the base, you’ll see the monster’s name, awareness modifier, and home dimension. And by picking him up for a quick look at the bottom of the base, you can see the entirety of the token’s back side.

Similarly, if a horrifying Mi-Go is summoned before you in Mansions of Madness, just insert his monster token into the base of his painted figure. You’ll see his name, monster type, awareness modifier, and horror rating at a glance, and you can flip the figure and base over to learn his damage, health, and special attack.

A small indentation in the base, just to the left of its name, reveals the token's border color.

Looking for other monsters to complete your collection? Keep checking back! In the meantime, visit our Arkham Horror Premium Figures website to see all of Waves One and Two, and to place your order!
