Clarity in the Confusion of Battle

Updated Dust Tactics FAQ and tournament rules are now online

Things can get quite clouded in the middle of a Dust Tactics battle zone. With bullets whizzing through the air, artillery exploding everywhere, and massive walking tanks pounding the ground, even the most well trained field commander can get a bit overwhelmed. Luckily, the latest Dust Tactics FAQ (pdf, 3.3MB) update is now available on the Dust Tactics support page.

With the Dust Tactics Regional Championships approaching, you’ll want to make sure that you are abreast of the most current rulings. Read the FAQ and tournament rules and arm yourself with knowledge.

In addition to the FAQ, you’ll find updated Dust Tactics tournament rules (pdf, 680KB) on the support page and new tournament record sheets for both Axis armies (pdf, 585KB) and Allies armies (pdf, 563KB).

Please note that the SSU will not be a playable faction in the 2012 Regional Tournament season.

A message from the Dust Tactics development team

For more information on the FAQ update, let’s turn to Zach Tewalthomas, one of the Dust Tactics developers:

Showcased in the new FAQ are in-depth clarifications regarding Reactive Fire, covering everything from the basics (exactly when and how it's resolved) to its use against units with tricky special abilities (such as Fast or Charge). It also includes updated rules for entering the battlefield and for using the Stimulant Kit special ability, making this your go-to source for any and all rules questions.

Thanks, Zach!

Visit the Dust Tactics support page and download the updated FAQ and tournament rules. Then resume annihilating your enemies on the battlefield.
