With April just around the corner, Fantasy Flight Games is excited for the impending FFG Regional Championship tournament season for Star Wars: The Card Game™!
These heated competitions are part of FFG’s Organized Play season for 2013, and they are a great way to meet new opponents and friends, hone your skills, and compete for unique prizes. This year, there are more venues hosting Regional Championship events than ever before, with over six hundred tournaments being held worldwide.
Regional Championship competitions are your chance to face off against the local community, win prizes, and earn entry to the FFG World Championship Weekend. Defeat the Dark Side or Extinguish the Light
Light side and dark side players duel for the fate of the galaxy in Star Wars: The Card Game. While the light side player races to make quick and efficient tactical strikes against dark side objectives, the dark side player works to reinforce his position of command.
Come and fight for freedom from oppression or solidify your control of the Empire during the intense competition of the Regional Championship events for Star Wars: The Card Game. The Regional Champion will receive a trophy, free entry to World Championship Weekend, and a Regionals 2013 Balance of the Force coin. While there can be only one Champion, other competitors can win full-color Star Wars: The Card Game playmats or exclusive affiliation cards.
The Road to World Championship Weekend
These competitions bring the best of the best into our 2013 FFG World Championship Weekend in Roseville, Minnesota, the premiere venue for matching your skills with the greatest players in the world. The winner of each Regional Championship is awarded free access to World Championship Weekend and a first round bye in the competition.
