The distant Antian Sector has known its share of horrors and strife, but even darker times lie ahead. A Warp rift has erupted nearby, and under its baleful influence Chaos infestations and other abhorrent phenomena have surfaced throughout the sector.
To face this threat, agents of the Imperium have come forth: Space Marine, Inquisitor, Commisar, Rogue Trader, and more. To succeed, such heroes will need skill and weaponry, courage and faith, and even the assistance of ancient and powerful relics.

With the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria by a Serbian nationalist in Sarajevo, a fuse is lit and the armies of Europe, and soon the entire world, will be on the march. With the introduction of machine guns, flying machines, tanks and chemical weapons, casualties will be measured in the millions, and advances against the enemy measured in yards.
Eight major powers struggle for supremacy. The Central Powers of Germany, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the Ottoman Empire are aligned against the great alliance of France, the British Empire, The Russian Empire, Italy, and eventually the United States.
Controlling one of the major powers, you will command both your country's military forces and its wartime economy. Ask for help at the right time, and the gods will grant you their powers.
Will you ask Freyja to recruit the fallen warriors of Valhalla, or will you use the cunning of Loki and Hel to make an opponent's armies die or switch sides at a critical moment?
Will you ask Tyr help you to win a decisive battle, or will you consult Mimir's wisdom in order to gain a tactical advantage?
Support the gods by erecting temples and by convincing brave warriors and mighty giants to side with them.
