Bring Light to the Darkness

The Latest FAQ for Descent: Journeys in the Dark Is on the Support Page

We’re pleased to present version 1.2 of the FAQ for Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition. For more on this document, here’s a word from Descent developer Justin Kemppainen:

Greetings Descent fans!

Today we have an update to the FAQ (pdf, 5.5 MB) for Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition. It has a few important changes and clarifications, including a minor issues related to the most recent expansion, Lair of the Wyrm.

Inside the update, you’ll find a few tweaks to “Castle Daerion,” making the quest a little less daunting, and a small clarification to the rules on how a large monster may interrupt its movement to perform an action.

Additionally, the Overlord cards Unholy Ritual, Bloodlust, and Reinforce have seen changes to bring the relative power of these cards in line, as well as to fix unfortunate issues where certain quests could be brought to an early end.

The rest of the update contains answers and clarifications to some of the common questions we’ve received in recent months. Feel free to keep ‘em coming, as we’re always more than happy to answer your questions when they arise. As the game continues to develop, we’ll be updating this document as necessary to make sure your heroic and villainous struggles in Terrinoth run as smoothly as possible.

Thanks for playing!
