Along with a custom playmat, rules sheet for an optional tournament format, and promotional poster, these kits offer three more “Nightmare Decks”; this time, players can increase the challenge of their games. Each twenty-two card Nightmare Deck is designed to add new terrors and surprises to familiar scenarios.
What’s a Nightmare Deck?
As many retailers may know from last season’s Game Night Kits, Nightmare Decks present players the opportunity to revisit past scenarios cast in the shadows of a challenging new Nightmare Mode. Featuring deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises, each of the Game Night Kit’s three Nightmare Decks introduce twenty encounter cards and instructions for using them to reshape exisiting encounter decks. The result? A nightmarish journey that will have players on the edge of their seats!
These Nightmare Decks will be available as Print on Demand expansions later in 2013, after the Game Night Kits rotate out of circulation. Until that time, they are exclusive to our The Lord of the Rings Game Night Kits and can help you turn your store into a hub of adventure and excitement! Please note: The cards in this kit are produced through FFG's Print on Demand process, and as such, they may appear slightly different in color and texture from the game's other cards. To be tournament legal, these cards must be sleeved with opaque or art sleeves.
