Will You Fight for the Chronos Protocol?Announcing an International Tour for Android: Netrunner
“Time is under attack.”
–The Lunar Daily
Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the Chronos Protocol Tour, an upcoming series of special tournaments for Android: Netrunner!
While we don’t normally announce events such as this so far in advance, due to the passionate response to our announcement of the Plugged-in Tour, we want to reassure our international players that you, too, will have a chance to participate in events that will impact the game you love.

Chronos Declassified
In February and March of 2014, players in Europe and other select international regions will be able to participate in the Chronos Protocol Tour, attend its tournaments, and vote for their favorite of two cards. One of these cards will enter the game, and the other will be forever derezzed. Attendees will also have the opportunity to compete for exclusive prizes.
Unlike the Plugged-in Tour, due to the distance and logistics involved, Fantasy Flight employees cannot host these worldwide events, but the tournaments will feature a level of prize support similar to those of the Plugged-in Tour.
For now, further details about the Chronos Protocol Tour remain classified. We are still working with our international partners to finalize the details for the events. At a later date, we will post more information about the prizes and reveal the two cards up for voting. Once all the tournament details have been finalized, we will also post a full schedule of Chronos Protocol Tour events and locations.
Limitations of the Mainframe
Keep in mind, however passionate FFG is about Android: Netrunner, we cannot represent support for this game equally in all countries or locations. Nor can we, regretfully, give most of our other deserving games such unique attention.
While we will, as we did with the Plugged-in Tour, try to reach as many locations within the resources available for the Chronos Protocol Tour, players in many countries and regions may be disappointed in the lack of proximity to their specific personal location.
If such events are successful and positive, it obviously encourages FFG to invest in other events of such nature, and hopefully some that would cover a greater variety of countries and regions.
We look forward to sharing more information about the Chronos Protocol Tour as it becomes available. Until then, stay tuned! You can’t go into every run with perfect information, but you still want to run at the right server… when the time is right.
