In Star Wars: The Card Game, you and your opponent engage in battles during the height of the Galactic Civil War. If the light side can destroy key dark side objectives, the forces of good will triumph! If the dark side can complete the construction of the Death Star, however, all hope for the light side will be lost. Is the Force strong with you? In Star Wars: The Card Game, you have the chance to prove it.
Soon, you’ll be able to take your game to the next level by participating in Star Wars: The Card Game Store Championships. These prestigious, local tournaments kick off our 2014 tournament season. They’re also your chance to win custom prizes and advance deeper into our Regional Championship tournaments later in the year.
What Is a Store Championship?
Store Championships are a new premier tier of Star Wars: The Card Game Organized Play below our Regional Championship tournaments and bigger than the standard tournaments supported by our 2014 tournament kits.
Our Star Wars: The Card Game Store Championship kits for 2014 feature the following exclusive prizes:
Champion: Store Championship plaque, custom deck box, and a first place certificate worth a first-round bye at one Regional Championship
Runner-Up: Custom deck box
Top 4*: Four exclusive Star Wars: The Card Game “Top 4” playmats
Participation: Thirty-two full-bleed alternate art versions of Han Solo.
*Each Store Championship prize kit includes an extra Star Wars: The Card Game playmat. This extra prize is intended for the tournament organizer but may also be used as an additional prize.
The Store Championship season kicks off FFG’s 2014 tournament calendar, running from February through March.
