Mysteries of the Old Ones

Download the FAQ for Eldritch Horror

Slowly, but inexorably crawling upon my consciousness and rising above every other impression, came a dizzying fear of the unknown; a fear all the greater because I could not analyze it, and seeming to concern a stealthily approaching menace; not death, but some nameless, unheard-of thing inexpressibly more ghastly and abhorrent.

–H.P. Lovecraft, The Crawling Chaos

The Ancient Ones reach out for our world, and only a small band of investigators are aware of Earth’s impending doom. In Eldritch Horror, one to eight noble investigators travel across the world, pitting mental and bodily strength against the monstrous servants of the Ancient One, solving mysteries and closing gates to mysterious worlds. If you can penetrate the mysteries surrounding the Ancient One, you may be able to stop its advance and forestall your demise… but if you cannot, the fate of the world is sealed.

In the struggle for the survival of the human race, you’ll need to know everything about your options for defeating cosmic evil and saving the world from destruction. To that end, the developers of Eldritch Horror have compiled an FAQ (pdf, 2.7 MB). Download the FAQ from the support page today, then rejoin the fight against the coming of the Ancient Ones!
