Spirit Games (http://www.spiritgames.co.uk) has a boardgame/RPG evening every weds from 8pm (though people turn up early these days), the shop is located s ahort walk from the Burton Train Station.

Raiders of the Game Cupboard (http://www.raidersofthegamecupboard.co.uk) is a quarterly games convention held in the Salvation Army Citadel in Burton on Trent, again located a short walk from the Burton Train station. The next event is on the 29th Decemeber and more details on the event can be found in this thread (http://www.bigbangburgerbar.co.uk/Forum/index.php?topic=2139.0) but if you look on the main forum page you will see a Raiders of the Game Cupboard (http://www.bigbangburgerbar.co.uk/Forum/index.php?board=50.0) area with location details and other information.
