Road to Rivendell threatens your heroes with a startling revelation. The Orcs that were scattered during the Battle of Five Armies have begun to mass once more!
These Orcs are eager for battle. Gathering in unknown numbers and strength, they are ready to swoop down upon your fellowship, and your heroes must remain ever wary if they hope to get Arwen safely to Rivendell.
Fortunately for your fellowship, players meet a new hero along the Road to Rivendell, one whose history steels him with a fierce resolve to face the orcs. With The Redhorn Gate, players gained the option to include Elrohir (The Redhorn Gate, 1) in their fellowships, and now his brother, Elladan (Road to Rivendell, 28) meets the fellowship on their approach to the Last Homely House.
Separately, these brothers are solid heroes, able to make solid contributions to questing, attack, and defense. But together, they truly come into their own, two powerful Noldor Elves, the sons of Elrond, filled with a passion to hunt and eliminate the Orcs who once captured and tortured their mother. United, Elrohir can stand against a horde of Orcs, and once his brother has turned aside their swords and spears, Elladan can cut them down.
Safety first
