World at War 25: Keren 1941

The Battle of Keren was one of the pivotal battles in East Africa during the Second World War. The Italian units, particularly the Savoia Grenadiers had fought so well that the Commonwealth forces had to conduct three assaults to break the Italians' positions. Indeed, the Savoia Grenadiers were not dislodged from their hilltop positions, and were only compelled to surrender after being surrounded, when other Italian positions elsewhere had fallen. But despite their ultimate defeat, the Battle of Keren is regarded as one of the Italian Army's most impressive battles during World War II.

Go Goblin Go!

Beneath the mountain called Goblins' Rock. The goblins have been mining for centuries. Their precious ore is running out and the taskmasters are getting bored!

So, in order to pass the time, the taskmasters have taken to racing their underlings into a... Pit of Fire! (underlings are expendable, after all.) It is agreed that secretly choosing their favourites would be best and the race would end when the "winner" falls into the pit. Oh, and there should be gambling. You know, just to keep it interesting!

Go Goblin Go! is a light, standalone racing and gambling board game. You secretly pick three of the racing goblins and you get points based on where they finish. You manipulate their movement so you have some control over where they finish. Just don't be first. The first goblin to fall into the pit "wins" but, they do not get any points.

Panic Lab

Panic in the Lab

Amoebas have escaped and are slithering around in all directions. Catch them fast.

Everyone plays together and at the same time. Roll four special dice that tell you which laboratory the amoeba escaped from and what it looks like. The first player to find the correct amoeba wins a point. But watch out, these little tricksters don't want to be caught: they hide in air vents and can even mutate.

You need a cool head, sharp eyes and a fast hand to keep your lab under control.

Regatta

A new and exciting racing game.

Race your yacht around the course battling your opponents and the elements. Each player has a hand of 5 cards. To move their yacht a player must pick up and then play a card indicating the direction their boat must take and the distance it will travel. If the wind is behind your sails, you can have another go. Or you can choose to get in the way of another player's boat. Winds, cards and other players are not always on your side: navigate intelligently.
