Title: FFG:They Came. They Played. They Conquered. Post by: RSSFeeder on 07 October 2012, 01:00:12 They Came. They Played. They Conquered.
We Induct Two More 2012 Champions into the Hall of Heroes Last week, we opened the doors to the Hall of Heroes and inducted its first member, three-time Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game World Champion, Tom Capor. Now, as we continue to contact and work with our champions, past and present, we are proud to induct two more players who have earned entry by winning National Championship Tournaments in 2012. Moreover, each of these National Champions won the right to represent his nation at the FFG World Championship Weekend:
Mathieu Hosatte – A Game of Thrones: The Card Game
During the 2012 French National Championship, Mathieu narrowly missed the final tables of both the Joust and Melee, but he won the Overall title due to his balance and ability to stay among the top participants in both tournaments. Will Mathieu translate his success in Europe to a World Championship in November? This may be the year North America’s champions lose their hold on the Iron Throne. The contests of A Game of Thrones: The Card Game are taking on a more global complexion this year as Mathieu and other National Champions are coming to FFG Headquarters in Roseville, MN to stake their claim during the FFG World Championship Weekend! Sascha Kramer – Dust Tactics
Sascha prefers the Axis because of their strong melee units and artillery options, but he has done his homework like any good commander, gaining intel on both of the other blocs by playing with them extensively. Will Sascha’s opponents be able to find a weakness in his strategies, or will he emerge victorious from the alternate 1940s reality battles of the Dust Tactics World Championship Tournament? Who will win the title of World Champion and the right to design a custom miniature along with the creator of Dust, Paolo Parente? Certainly, Sascha is a force with which to be reckoned. More Champions to Come We have more champions to induct into the Hall of Heroes in the coming weeks and months, but you can join their ranks! The 2012 World Championship Tournaments are coming soon. Pre-register now for the FFG World Championship Weekend to take your shot at glory and stamp your name into the annals of history! ...Source: They Came. They Played. They Conquered.
