We Induct Another Worlds-Bound Champion to the Hall of Heroes
“That is not dead which can eternal lie, Fantasy Flight Games is proud to induct its newest member into the Hall of Heroes! Over the past several weeks, we’ve expanded the Hall with current and former World Champions, North American Champions, and European National Champions – all of whom have expressed their intent to attend the FFG World Championship Weekend. We’ve added champions from A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Dust Tactics, Dust Warfare, and Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game. Now, as we look forward to a weekend of top-level competition, waged between the top players from across the world, in our most truly international World Championships ever, we’re pleased to induct the second of our champions from Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game. James Black The 2007 Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game World Champion, James Black has played since the game’s earliest days and remains a threat in the game’s top-tier competitions.
James’ history with the game stretches back to its very foundations in its collectible era. He was the second person to post on the original message boards, right after Fantasy Flight Games CEO, Christian T. Peterson. Throughout the course of his long study of the eldritch arts, James has enjoyed a great deal of success .
