Seriously tempted to give this a go. I only dabble with radioplays occasionally and anything I've also read feels weird cause of pronunciation issues, but you can't beat a bit of Pratchett.

I actually don't recall noticing anything too weird in the sky things, I'm more thinking back to the old Tony Robinson audiotapes which I had at least one of. I vaguely recall being weirded out by how he pronounced Anhk Morpork.
The BBC thing was indeed excellent, if incredibly short. Particularly enjoyed the understated portrayal of Death and that moment where I realised where I knew the name Mark Heap from when Rincewind started actually talking.
