Announcing New Game Night Kits for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game
Players, talk to your local game store about hosting a local game night with one of the new 2014 Season One Game Night Kits for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game.
The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game Organized Play allows you and your friends to travel throughout Middle-Earth, battling evil and opposing the spread of Sauron’s power. Now, you can expand your adventures in Middle-Earth with Game Night Kits! Season One adventures will begin in March 2014 but the order deadline is January 17th!
What Is a Game Night Kit?
Game Night Kits for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game are packages of promotional materials designed to encourage play and build community. Each kit includes new enhancements to the game's existing scenarios and prizes for you to bring home. As you set forth from the Shire, confront terrible trolls, seek shelter from raging storms, and solve tricky riddles, you’ll have to overcome all-new threats and evil tricks in the newest Nightmare Decks.
Nightmare Decks invite you and other players to experience past adventures in an entirely new way, facing new challenges along the way. By removing certain cards from a pre-existing Encounter deck and replacing them with the cards in the Nightmare Deck, you reinvent a quest, taking your adventures into new realms of nightmare!
Please note: The Nightmare Decks in this kit are produced through FFG's In-House Manufacturing, and as such, they may appear slightly different in color and texture from the game's other cards. Players are encouraged to sleeve these cards to prevent easy identification during the game.
