What? Sabrecon is a gaming convention held by the university of Leicester’s games society, the Leicester sabres, it has been running for three years previously now and has gathered quite a bit of steam. When? Sabrecon will be held on the 22nd February 2014. 8:00 Trader setup 9:00: Sabrecon opens to the public, registration and signing up to roleplays start 10:00 Wargame tournament starts. 19:00 We get kicked out of the O2 Academy…. 19:01 Afterparty?! Where? Leicester O2 Academy University Road, Leicester, LE1 7RH Who? Currently we have a confirmed list of traders and demo gamers which is growing by the day, but here it is. Tournaments: Warhammer Warhammer 40,000 Dystopian Wars Warmachine Magic the Gathering How? Entrance will cost you £5, and this will get you access to our large cupboard of boardgames, the demo games, the traders, and the roleplays .To join the wargames tournament will be an extra £5 on top of the entrance fee and will give you, unsurprisingly, entrance to the tournament. Your fee can either be paid on the day on the door or beforehand using the internet! We are sorry to announce that the Warhammer Fantasy tournament and Magic the Gathering tournament has been cancelled due to low attendance. We also have had to let all traders go due to low footfall of general attendance. Although, we will still be inviting people to come in, play games and enjoy the roleplays that will be attending. Those who have paid for the cancelled tournaments or who have paid for general attendance ONLY will be refunded. My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused, Richard J Evans, Sabrecon Rep."
