Title: Star Wars minis RIP
Post by: carldjcross on 09 February 2010, 23:33:14
Have you seen this (from the Wizard's SWM site)?

After a lengthy evaluation, Wizards of the Coast has decided not to renew the Star Wars license with Lucasfilm. We’ve had a long and fantastic run, but with the economic downturn, we have made the tough decision to discontinue our Star Wars lines.

Looks like this and the RPG is dead or at least twitching.  :(

Shame as the only reason I was looking at this was I've got a hankering to get into a pre-painted minis game. Anyone still play this or the D&D version which they will I assume still support?

Me and Arnu still play.

Theres a monthly Tourny in Spirit Games with 8 - 10 regular players, its been running for years and we plan to keep it running.

Well someone had, because there's half the figures in my collection I've never played with  ;D

That's reassuring, I probably should have looked at the events before I posted.  ::)

If either of you are at Spirit tonight I'll pick your brains about this.
