Title: Raiders of the Game Cupboard Day LVI
Post by: Zarniwoop on 20 March 2023, 03:39:16
!! 25th March Event – An important announcement !!

Following storm damage at our usual venue, it is out of action, so we have made alternative arrangements at short notice.

Books and Banter ( games café in Station Street (by the corner of Guild Street) have reserved several tables for us; they are open from 11.00 for us until 6.00pm.

There is no entry charge, but please buy drinks and food from them, at very reasonable prices.

They will not have enough room for everyone, however, so it is also open house at Chateau Spirit, 98/99 Horninglow Street, Burton, DE14 1PJ from 10.00 till 10.00. We can accommodate 18 – 20 players here, with parking for half a dozen cars, and have two or three tables better suited to the larger games than those at the games café.

There are three car parks within two minutes walk of Book & Banter, all day costs around £5.00, but two of them cost £2.40 for three hours and are then free after 3pm, which is ideal for anyone arriving at 12 noon.

Many of you know where we are, for directions and/or to reserve a table please give me a call on 0744 3456502.

See you on Saturday, Phil
