An excellent Cthulhu based RPG system using the new GUMSHOE system (http://www.spiritgames.co.uk/results.php?search=gumshoe&menu=1), there is a lot of detail here and plenty of really excellent supplemental material. This has an updated and extended version of the GUMSHOE system adapted to this genre and will provide an excellent alternative to those who feel the other Arkham Horror based RPG is a little too reliant on dice rolls and players ability to Investigate your carefully planned clues :). The system allows characters to find basic clues quite easily but to find out more details they have to use their skills but they always get enough information to start looking in the right direction The book is well written and the rule system is well thought out. The artwork and production values of this rulebook are excellent, a worthy addition to your bookshelves |
