Where's the vampiric Tom Selleck we talked about? I'm dissappointed.

The internet regurgitates these poor undead imitations of the real 'stache that is Magnum P.I.:

This is why there is no Vampire Tom Selleck. Also, laziness and an unwillingness to look photoshop in the eye right now.

Also, For Dat's attention; Blockhead (http://theswain.com/cartoons.htm)
Blockhead is rather similar to the characterisation of the excellent 'splosion man (though he predates it rather a ways). He also reminds me of every single character chris has ever rp'ed. :)

I also reccomend the beat it version, and in a weird way, the 'Technoviking is living on a prayer' mix.

Sometimes you see a piece of (fan)art, and realise that it will never form part of the actual thing, the official series, and it is so sad it hurts.
On related note, I found this and believe it to be good.

'Gyo - Death Stench of the South Seas' http://www.onemanga.com/Gyo/1/

Architecture heavy grimdark scifi manga.

Okay, just reading it myself; http://brasscockroach.com/h4ll0w33n2007/manga/Amigara-Full/Amigara-0.html
It's the original bonus-material from the second volume of Gyo, and my first go at Stacey's challenge. Probably not got Gyo beat on disturbing, but we'll see...

[edit] - Unless you have severe claustrophobia, this is really nothing major. Gyo 1, Challengers 0.

Title: Re: The Greatest and Best Thread in the World
Post by: morgalahan on 29 October 2009, 03:00:54
Eh? Is this more of the Death Stench stuff?

EDIT

I laugh at your Amigara fault manga, hardly worth the read. Not at ALL freaky when compared to Gyo.

Can you do any better?  8)

There MUST be something out there worse than Gyo. It was freaky as all hell, but there has to be worse. I know the japanese have come up with concepts more disturbing than that.

You do realise, especially the tarrantino one, that it's actually pretty close to some of the way he actually does soundtrack some of his films, right? :)

Did you even try to watch reservoir dogs?

The Terminator one wins though, btw. I approve.

I'm suprised to say that some of those are actually half way, well, I was going to say decent but I'll instead say "to my tastes". Particularly, I could imagine ever wearing the Yoda ones, and the Orange and white ones are pretty snazzy.

I hear Snoop Dogg is playing the main character in the new Star Wars TV series they are working on, hence him helping launch these shoes. Playing some kind of street-wise bounty hunter with a dark past but a heart of gold.

I may have just made that up. But you know you'd watch it.

So, it's not manga, but I believe this is the creepiest thing I've come across since Gyo.

Click Me (http://www.youtube.com/user/MarbleHornets#p/u/25/Wmhfn3mgWUI).

It's all Youtube hosted, and there's lots of it, so probably not for those with particularly harsh caps. I just wanted this officially 'shared' however.

It's...not particularly flashy, but god damn, it creeped me out.

I just so happened to stumble upon this deleted scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuN3YjxQm0A&feature=related) on youtube, thought you cats might enjoy a breif look at some of the nuances of Predator interaction.

Also, this totally unrelated vid is an intruiging look at some Trandoshan Culture (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2N9uQdw8m8&feature=player_embedded), that I encountered whilst researching my Star Wars character.

Fate is a cruel mistress as Minnow aka 'grey bunny' was put to sleep today after a sudden worsening of her illnesses that included arthritis.
A hefty 7 years old, i gave her some apple core (minus pips) just yesterday and she was quite still and quiet.
May she hop in bunny heaven with the '118' lions-mane bunny she bonded with.

Roving scholar and upstanding young lady as she is, Last Rainbow certainly wasn't singing this in any of the taverns along the way during this thursday's Exalted campaign.

Not until suitably inebriated, at any rate.

Throwing the glove certainly sounds a bit borderline, but they were all given, so presumably none were actually cheating.

I think I enjoy number three particularly.
