Hi Thought I would start a thread for people to post information, links or items that players/GMs will find useful for RPG systems.

My starting contribution (though not free) is Hero Lab
Hero Lab Features
Download Hero Lab
Game Systems Supported:

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
Mutants & Masterminds
d20 System
Call of Cthulhu
World of Darkness
4th Edition
Savage Worlds
Cortex System
Authoring Kit (Design your own dataset)

This is really quite a nice system, covers quite a few gaming systems and they are always working on more. Try it out, and by the way I am not getting paid for this I just like to recommend well written and useful software giving credit where credit it due.

The following site has some user content available for this program: http://www.cheeseweasel.net/

Ed's toolkits for Exalted     http://www.edexalted.com/

Anathema  http://anathema.sourceforge.net/

I hope that helps

Cyberpunk 2020 and the other editions of that game all apparently contained something called a 'lifepath generator', that allowed DM's and PC's to come up with involved backstories randomly. It sounded a pretty good idea, so I scratched around and found a couple of versions on the net.

Lifepath Generator
Basic version, pretty much just the stuff from the Cyberpunk books as far as I know. Creates interesting people in seconds, with reasonably transferable stuff, should be quite useful for similar games.

Post-Cyberpunk Lifepath Generator
The second one here is more comprehensive, but a little clunkier having been built in flash. It has several selectable 'Genres', including Fantasy-Punk (ala shadowrun perhaps?), post-cyberpunk and more.

Worth a click around simply for the lulz available, but may actually come in handy for someone, so here they are.
