Most of us here arn't from Chicago & haven't been there outside a shadow run game  but you are more than welcome, I believe Slug is in the US somewhere but he tends to keep quiet about quite were, I am sure Zarni said something about him being an illegal alien last time we discussed it Wink

Not at all

Well like many people I am from London but like all the best Londoners I migrated north at the first opportunity & have come to rest in the Capital of British Beer Burton On Trent  not five minutes walk away from the internationally famous Spirit Games where I some times pretend to work. Burton is Quite a gaming Hub as a result of game playing people accrediting around Spirit games & we have Weekly Board gaming nights two wargames clubs, Beer & Pretzels yearly now with a new mini version in the Autumn after Essen a yearly, all week end wargames tournament organised by BAD wargamers in febuary, Raiders of the Lost game cupboard quarterly, organized by Zarni the admin here and several notable posters on this forum & Beer & Lard a games day involving People playing wargames rules written by Too fat lardies which I organise.

We also have a healthy Role playing scene with weekly Roleplaying games at present 4e D&D WHFRP & Exalted & a healthy CCG games scene with Magic being run on Friday for Friday night magic  & some times on Saturday for release/ pre releases & events  & Wednesday at the Portal Wargames Club which is on of the local wargames clubs the other being BAD Burton and district wargames mentioned above.

You would be more than welcome at any or all of the above but I recognise that transcontinental and then transatlantic commuting would make this a bit difficult.

I am sure Slug is much nearer except on the occasions as he is this year coming over to see his old associates from the Lefthand rule games group I am not sure what he is running at the moment but his Green & Pleasant land posts are apart form being very cool suggestive of D&D 3/3.5 or Pathfinder.

It's an old school 2nd Ed AD&D game.

very cool in that case, 2nd ed was a nice system before it got cluttered up by one to many rules supplement & still is if you are careful about what you add to it.
