Another one I would be interested in but I expect my random appearances for now will not allow me to join the campaign this time, would like to see a game though at some point for future attendance hopefully  Cool

Having now got the rules & seen beyond the battle play test it would be very re playable & more than possible to book a hall for a day & get a lot done. I am considering this with both Derby wargames society (DWS) & at the Salvation army citadel where I do Beer & Lard & Zarni & the committee do raiders.

I Have read the rules & taken on-board the changes since the last play test version I have my hands on & I am ready to run my first campaign. It will not be the grand campaign described above as I feel I will need the Raiders supplement which expands the campaign rules but it will be based on the above & I will be posting an introduction to it on my blog very shortly.

I have not done any more work on the blog, since the last reported update,  but I have managed to make quite a bit of Scenery for the game & make a good start on all the Grand Manner Buildings & Roman Roads I picked up before Beer and Pretzels this Spring & with recent developments with work I should be able to have these ready for use soon.

I will also get some pictures up on the Blog as soon as I can.

I will also be over at Burton & District Wargames Club at the Priory Centre in Stretton this Tuesday & at least once a month there after & I will be recruiting for my first campaign.

I need to go to Stretton & BAD again but in the mean time I have been finishing off my troops & scenery and reading a collection of rather interesting background articles which are avalible in a pdf  I had intended to post the link to it here but my e-mail is not cooperating so I am going to see if its small enough to attach to this post.

it worked  Shocked have fun reading it

I have decided that I am going to run The Laudanum campaign as a Solo Game & to try to organise a multliplayer campaign either at BAD wargames  at the Priory centre  in Streton with Martin & Will or to do one in the shop possibly on  RPG Thursdays as its as much a RPG as a wargame given the importance of the characters to the whole thing.

I hope to be able to start the Laudanum campaign after the Madness which is Beer & lard do it at my leisure photograph it & use it for my Blog.

After quite A haituis in which I have done no painting what so ever I and been doing scenery as it is quick & relatively simple I have got hold of some of Gripping beasts new Saga Strathclyde Welsh and intend to finish off the cavalry for Elmet. I am also shortly to be in possession of a fully working camera so the blogs will be alive with pictures of all of this.

With the move to the new shop where we actually have the space to run a proper wargame without getting in every ones way expect me to start  a shop Dux Britanarim - campaign very soon.

I just need to do some more scenery....
