I guess most will embrace 4th Ed whilst still using 3rd Ed as well (I know I will end up with 4th Ed. but I've got a lot of games I want to run still with 3rd Ed. (especially Dragonlance Chronicals).

It's not bad going that D&D is only on it's 4th Edition in it 34 year history compared with Star Wars (just from the same company) with less than 10 years history being on it's 3rd edition.

I also like the idea of the streamlining of the game to make it easier and quicker to run.
