Friends of SpiritGames Facebook group started

Just to say I have in a fit of random niceness started a face book group for the friends of SpiritGames and all of you are invited to join if you are afflicted with a face book account as I am so we can help promote our favourite games shop to the heathens who do not yet know about it. donations of Photo's etc suitable would be appreciated

Zarni given your creative talents is there any chance of a modified spiritgames Logo to use as the groups logo as the only one I have at the moment is form the website.

I am also looking for any pictures of spirit games based or related events that I can put on the group to attract some interest. I can also Use the Group to further advertise Raiders since it is linked Wednesday night Games night, Thursday night Role-playing Night  and other events.

Not a big fan of social networks so I'll leave that one to others.

As for Logo, would have to clear with Phil first it is after all their intellectual property and subject to (C) but if they are happy for it to be used then I'll help if needed.

There is one group that looks very likely (they've got the logo) but it seems to be full of yanks!

I only started the group in the last couple of days but Phil has a lot of customers in the colonies so I will have to look it up. I have also not been able to get onto face book since yesterday as my internet has been having a hissy fit all day.

Found group and sent its admin a message since there is no indication what its about but it is using Phils on-line shop logo

I also discovered most of its members seemed to be colonial I await developments.

Ok, I found it and joined it.

I suspect the other group is something to do with the Christian olympics thing. Bit naughty to nick the logo from the shop though.

I do have a copy of the artwork because I needed to enlarge it for the A1 posters I made for Phil.

But Phil's permission will be required before I would do anything with it.

I messaged the president of the other group who has got back to me offering to delete the group so I gave her Spiritgames e-mail and told her to e-mail him to ask if she could use it as deleting the whole group seems a bit of an over reaction. I will give her a day or so to sort that out before I kick up a fuss.

I am planing to talk to SpiritGamers in person about it tomorrow and have already sent an e-mail
