Hi, I'm Alan

I attended Beer and Pretzels last year after meaning to attend it for a while, was good but disappointed at the lack descent cider. Attended Raiders of the Game Cupboard this year and had my second game of Arkham Horror even though I've owned the game for months. I should be at B&P this year looking for a game of Axis and Allies or Munchkin. I've been to all the Manorcons that have been held in Leicester and have been much impressed.

I started roleplaying many years ago at school, stopped when the GM stopped as it was only good because of the GM.
I was a member of the Nottingham Guild of Live Roleplayers for several years until that fizzled out.
Played M:tg for far too long and spent far too much money on it, though I did have fun going to a few Grand Prix in Europe.
Current board gaming phase is mainly due to Brettspielwelt.de and Manorcon.

Fun fact about me #1 I was thrown out of a Middle Earth roleplaying group for having too many of my characters die.
