Aram's Secret

Amali cursed his arrogance and stupidity - he shouldn't have gone this deep. Only the Kalites go this close to the bottom of the ravine. and even they prefer their dwellings higher up. It had all sounded so simple back at the cantina: a short detour into the lower ravine to meet up with the smugglers' barge and load the goods. But nothing is ever simple on Jina.A faint light pierced the green mist in the air - a gravcraft, finally! Then, he heard the gravel shift a few steps down in the mist and froze with fear. What if the stories were true? What if the bottom of the ravine actually was home to djinni? He braced himself and looked down - nothing. He breathed a sigh of relief and tried to stop shaking. Maybe this could work, after all.But nothing is ever simple of Jina. The acidified planet Jina is widely considered as an uninhabitable hell hole. Despite this, a hardy mining colony known as Aram's Ravine persists underneath the heavy clouds. Most travellers and traders in these parts choose the luxury resort moon Cala Duriha instead, and only the most desperate descend through the toxic atmosphere to visit the ravine. Fate forces the PCs down to the planet, however, where the plot soon thickens around them.Contents of this book:The scenario location Aram's Ravine, complete with maps, NPCs, and story hooksThe stand-alone scenario Aram's Secret, in which the settlement's dark past is revealed. An overview of the Cala Duriha luxury moon, in all its splendour and decadence.

Symbaroum Monster Codex

The ruin appeared as a mirage, when the Blight Mist finally dissolved during our breathless escape. The hunters slowed down behind us - neither the primal blight beast nor the chattering, clawing, corruption oozing swarmers wanted to leave the milky white depths of the fogbank. We did not stop. Sunken and overgrown, the broken pyramid ahead was nearly devoured by Davokar, still its asymmetrical opening seemed like a gateway to safety and rest. We forced our way through the hanging vines, lowered ourselves down to the floor with ropes, and let the fear and corruption fade away, the blackened veins on Oleana's colourless cheeks paled as the look of panic slowly left her eyes.Sunlight found its way through cracks up high and fell upon a mighty pillar at the centre of the hall - made of naked grey stone with a surface chiselled in strange designs, hypnotic in their worn splendour. We walked about halfway towards its foot before Oleana grabbed my arm, and made me halt."Like blight beasts in mist," I thought, as they came into the light, slowly but surely surrounding us; almost human, naked, with their spider jaws twitching in hunger. As Oleana pushed me towards the pillar, I knew I was going to die. Still, I climbed, the words of my father ringing in my ears: "In Davokar only one law applies: whatever may happen, never give up!"The Symbaroum Monster Codex makes the settlements, woods and vales of the Davokar region more dangerous than ever before! More than a hundred creatures, monsters and abominations are crammed together between these covers - some of them well-known, others only mentioned in legends and fairy tales; some unstoppably hungry, others open to negotiations; some presented in detail, others with only short descriptions. Combined with the guidelines on how to create creatures of your own, the content of this bestiary should provide materials for hundreds of hours at the gaming table!Featured content:More than thirty fully described and illustrated creatures with the potential to be at the centre of unique adventures and challenges inSymbaroum.A whole section consisting of short descriptions and stats of generic non-player characters, monsters, beasts and abominations. The new categories Flora and Phenomenon along with thirty-seven new monstrous traits, adding to the nineteen already in the Core Rulebook.Guidelines for the creation of your very own creatures and how to design balance combat challenges.Suggestions on how to develop three types of adventure chronicles that put the bestiary's creatures in play: Trophy Hunters, Monster Explorers and Occult Problem Solvers.Note that this book requires access to the Symbaroum Core Rulebook, and that it does not come into its own without the content of the Advanced Player's Guide.

Last Voyage of the Ghazali

Echoes from the past, voices speaking about the important task ahead. Captain Ia Kaschares: "The Tsurabi colony has sent us a distress call and we are part of the response team. What we can expect to find after the jump to Taoan is not clear. You've all heard the message. We are being escorted by a Legion destroyer, the Zafirah, and we make the final jump immediately after her."The urgency of the present: Flashing red and white lights, blaring alarms, a heavy head, unresponsive limbs. You must have come out of statis too soon. No orders, no updates - just the cold floor beneath your feet and a body reluctant to move. Your fingers remember the code to your footlocker, and you clumsily put on your gear. You ask for more light, your voice hoarse. Nothing happens. You call out to the central computer but get no answer. You look at the spiral staircase climbing upward into the dark. Flashing white pulses in the red light strips along the floor.Emergency lighting.Emergency.The colony in the Taoan system transmits a distress call and goes silent. On Coriolis station, the factions scramble to put together a rescue mission focused on the Ghazali, a decommissioned cruise liner. The PCs are members of the rescue team and put on ice before the jump to Taoan, but something goes terribly wrong before they reach their destination. They wake up to alarms in the darkness of a crippled ship. What has happened? Can they survive the last voyage of the Ghazali?Contents:An intense race against time in three acts onboard an old luxury cruise liner.Floor plans of the GhazaliFloor plans of the Fatima's Bounty freight ship.A description of the Hamura system.

The Dying Ship

It was hot, he was sweating heavily, and the exo felt bulky and unresponsive. He let the headlight of the suit sweep across the hull before him. The enormous ship was dark and looked abandoned. The com crackled in his helmet and he heard Rouya's distorted voice: "Zebo, what do you see?"He moved through the vacuum toward the seemingly derelict hauler, with only a thin cable connecting his exo to the shuttle and his friends behind him. His headlights illuminated big letters painted on the hull."It's Orun II, we've found her. But I see no signs of life onboard. Something is obviously very wrong."He was only a few meters from the hull now. The coms crackled with some form of interference and Rouya's voice disappeared in static. Then, the lights on his exo went out.He reached the hull with a light thud. Everything was silent except for his own heavy breathing, quickly fogging up the visor of his helmet. He was alone now.The ice hauler Orun II has stopped responding to hails, and has changed course towards a deadly asteroid cloud. The player characters are tasked with intercepting the heavy freighter to find out what has happened onboard and bring it back to Coriolis safely. What is hiding aboard the silent hauler and what has happened to her crew?In this full-length adventure, the players get to explore the mystery of the dying ship, confront an ancient secret - and hopefully live to tell the tale. The contents include:An exciting and action-packed scenario taking place on Coriolis, in space and onboard the dying shipShip plans for the ice hauler OrunIISeveral player handouts Practical tips for the GamemasterFive pre-made characters, ready to be used right away
