Should have said all characters will have the choice of male and female characters and I will have painted a figure for each in each option. I will also have written up a bit of background for each which you can expand on should you wish to.

I will also have appropriate scenery and maps for all encounters as well as munchies and possibly a kitchen curry if you are all good.

All characters sketched out need the form fillable PDF ctr sheet I was promised as my early RQ game proved that my hand writing was unreadable by Burton gamers. Adventure sketched out thanks to having Miss EvilGingers 4e books and the first three encounters designed.

Painting miniatures for the characters and some of the monsters in the adventure looking for more to inspire me.

I am also in the light of the Underdark map set being unavailable designing my own encounter maps.

look forward to running it but need more people to volunteer to be Victims Players

Character sheets all done and ready for a trip to the printers one page backgrounds also done for the players to expand on if they wish in process. Figures for party all purchased and well on in process of painting I will post pictures of them when they are finished.

Every thing looks to be on schedule for the end of january 2009 but I still need more players.

Update

All is in hand but for a start in February not end of January. I am aiming for around the 22nd all the characters maps etc, are done but I am in the middle of setting up a new business and have hundreds of figures to paint and still have to go and see Miss EvilGinger to give the EvilerGinger one first refusal of a place in the game.

Sorry for the delay but as tends to be the case Life has interfered with my gaming >:(

I also need many more volunteers so roll up

Introduction

The adventure starts in the Spire of X'androth an great fortress of the Drow of the kingdom of Nar'vendra on its deep northern border. The spire is built into a great Stalagmite which reaches nearly a mile up from the floor of the great cave. It was formed around a spike of rock jutting out of the west side of the cave and was long ago encased in hard slick deposits which make it unclimbable without magic or following a narrow torturous path from its base carved by slave labour long ago.

The Tower was built generations ago when the Drow first subdued the Hobgoblin and Goblin tribes of this area and remains a statement to the power of the Drow. It is a statement of might which is now largely no longer necessary since the evil but orderly Hobgoblin lords respect this power and have its existence drummed into them form birth, and these hobgoblin lords have their craven goblin vassals well cowed.

It is only because the Drow know there own politics and don't believe in this seeming order is more than a seeming that it is maintained at all. Even though the growing struggles since with the Beholders and Illithids in the south and the surface Dwarven Mitheril miners in the upper south have slowly stripped it of its garrison of a thousand warrior Drow. The lower works which held most of the garrison are closed and are sealed with fell magic's and only the keep at the top of the spike remains garrisoned by a handful of officers and half a company of Hobgoblin Evaruk (subject soldiers)

The Players are the officers in charge of the outpost

Things I will do before the next session in no particular order

1 proof read and update all the character sheets so we have names on them where people have given them and any peculiarities I created by using the insider character generator are sorted out.

2 Buy and paint a ward room table and some chairs

3 Buy and paint a Drow Ranger figure for Zarni to use

4 Get Miss EvilGinger over and drag Crazyfrog along as he will enjoy it, and I know what she is like.

5 Subscribe to insider so I can do character portraits for every one amongst other stuff.

finally I have a question when do I run the next one?

Done in as much as it is possible to do with insider and where it was not posible I reported it as a bug

When Do I run the next session I originally wanted to run monthly but after comments that people could not do that I settled for quarterly or perhaps bimonthly  but I get the impression given the shortness of the first session that people would want to run it again sooner rather than later if only to have a full length session.

What do you think I have had my way and got it started on my Birthday and now its up to you, when you have decided I will drag Miss Evilginger over from Lincoln.

I can make any sunday, really, given a little warning. So I'd say whichever sunday (or etc) guarentees us the most players available, with an ideal of *at least* everyone who made it to the first? More than that is a bonus, less is really just a shame.

I thought for a breif moment that the next session was due tonight. (Luckily, it doesn't seem to be the case, because I feel broken right now. Aah, weekend overtime.)

So, uh, yeah. Who was it we needed to co-ordinate? Zarni and Oskar, Andy 'n' Frog, give or take a vince, fetch a siser, etc. etc. So, um, who've we heard from and who've we not? Possible sundays, etc?

(Also, if and when we agree on a sunday, be sure to remind me on the preceeding wednesday, in person if possible!)

Ok I only heard form you directly here though I have spoken to Frog, Zarni & Oskar in person at the shop. I have put a provisional date of the calendar Sunday 5th of April. I need to get hold of my niece, Shudders at the thought of ever role playing again with his sister < I may need therapy to get over just thinking about that again, as my sister did roleplay but gave up when she discovered boy's and realized that me and my brothers roleplaying friends where not even in the worst cases, (Bugsy) the proto Ugio players which turned out to be her type. Her current husband being the exception which proves that rule frankly>

back to the topic after far too much information about my childhood, I will contact my Niece next week when I have phone credit and may pop over with her D&D books shortly there after to remind her in person with the spare drow character sheet  >:D ;D. I will also of course remind you in person of the date as soon as its confirmed. As for Vince if its Thursday night Vince rather than Wednesday night Vince then I am told he is already in a game on Sundays so not available.
