Title: Wolverine - Origin Post by: CrazyFrog on 21 May 2009, 23:05:24 mmmmmmmm
Saw this last week and I feel its a poor movie, the CGI was unfinished and Wolverine looks stuck onto the background. When comparing to the Ironman +:notworthy=+::notworthy: and Hulk movies of last year its very strange why the quality has dropped. It takes many aspects of the different Wolverines & other characters from the Marvel Universe's and blend it into a movie, so those non comic readers get a feel of Wolverine's story, but so many things in the plot just dont add up. Its a switch your brain off and sit back movie and stay to the very end of the credits!! [possible minor spoilers follow] The CGI wasn't perfect, but I'm not terribly bothered. It looked great stylistically and was a good laugh. As I was expecting a much worse movie, I found myself rather pleasantly suprised. Although, they kind of weirded me out with 'uber deadpool'. Will be interesting to see how they do Deadpool in his now-confirmed movie... He had to fill the role of 'end-of-film fight' and hollywood felt it had to tart him up a bit to make it more box office exciting. :-\ So, when my dream comes true and deadpool gets his movie, it's likely they won't stray too far from the original merc we all love. I heart deadpool. (and hulk, - but don't tell him about my superhero on the side.)
