Wings of War Base Games

Colorful biplanes fight each other in the foggy sky over the front. Can you manage to shoot down your enemies and become an Ace?

Each Wings of War base game includes:

    * Maneuver decks that accurately reflect the capabilities of the planes of the WWI era.
    * Historically accurate plane and pilot cards.
    * Damage decks, counters, and rulers.
    * Player boards for each type of plane.

Each Wings of War base set is a complete game for 2 to 4 players, which may be combined with additional sets, or with other copies of the same set, to play larger games. For that purpose, 23 planes with different colors are included in each box.

Wings of War Miniatures

These miniatures take your Wings of War game into three dimensions! Each pre-painted plastic model depicts a unique, historical warplane from the Wings of War game, complete with maneuver deck and variable-altitude stand.

Each Wings of War Miniatures pack includes:

    * One pre-painted pewter-and-plastic model in 1/144 scale.
    * Four clear plastic altitude pegs.
    * One clear plastic gaming base, with stats, fire arc, and movement markers.
    * One deck of maneuver cards, specific to the model of plane.

Wings of War Miniatures packs are not a complete game. You will need rules, rulers, damage decks, and tokens from the base Wings of War games in order to play. However, a Wings of War Miniatures pack is an excellent and easy way to expand your Wings of War game past the contents of one box.

Wings of War: Famous Aces

Wings of War is a game series that merges card and board game mechanics to recreate aerial combat. The first series of Wings of War games focus on the "knights of the air" age, World War I, portraying the abilities of the fighting planes of this period.

Wings of War: Famous Aces is the first set of the WWI collection. It includes five types of planes: the Spad XIII, Albatros D Va, Sopwith Camel, Fokker Dr1 and the Sopwith Triplane. Each one was flown by an ace: Baracca, von Richtofen, Rickenbecker, Fonck, Olieslagers and Baker.

Wings of War: Watch Your Back

Roaring two-seater planes fly over the trenches on recon missions, bombing runs, trench strafing, and daring rescues... Can you escort your planes to their targets and safely back home? Or can you prevent your opponent's planes from striking at the heart of your forces?

Watch Your Back! can be played by itself or mixed with Famous Aces to play larger scenarios. It includes five types of planes: the Nieuport 11, Hanriot HD.1 and Halberstadt D.III fighters, and the British/American DH4 and the Austrian Ufag C.I two-seaters.

The WWII series of Wings of War is an easy, fun to play, fast and furious system which fans of Famous Aces and the rest of the Wings of War games will be able to start playing minutes after opening the box! Wings of War: The Dawn of World War II includes fighter planes from the first years (1939-1941) of the war – pilot a Spitfire, a Messerschmitt, a Hurricane. Wings of War: Balloon Busters - De Guibert

Turn your eyes skyward during World War I, and you'll discover that planes weren't alone in the skies. Drachens, the enormous floating leviathans of the air, were used as observation platforms and even for barrages. In response, the Le Prieur rockets introduced in April 1916 were designed to bring them down!

The balloons were so difficult to destroy, even using Le Prieur rockets, that it required the pilot to head directly into the target while they fired. The electric switch had to be triggered very close to the Drachen, and if they happened to ignite the gases holding the balloon aloft, the plane could be caught in the blast.

These ace pilots came to be known as "Balloon Busters." Each Balloon Buster expansion set adds one spectacular Drachen model, and an additional plane model for use with Wings of War.

The Balloon Buster expansion sets are not a complete game. A copy of at least Famous Aces, Watch your Back!, Burning Drachens, or WWI Deluxe is required to play.

Wings of War - Flight of the Giants

When they appeared in the sky, they changed the course of history! Giant airplanes, with a wingspan larger than that of a WW II Flying Fortress, were already flying during World War I and able to reach strategic targets, leaving their mark on the course of the fight. Now, you can board and fly these giants of the sky towards their target…

Flight of the Giants is the first expansion set for Wings of War, introducing into the game early bomber planes, with new rules to handle their extended crews and fighting capabilities. You can now maneuver a huge Zeppelin Staaken, a Friedrichshafen G.III, or a Handley Page O/400, avoiding the fire of enemy fighters and searching for your target.   Flight of the Giants features 8 different bombers of the Allies and the Central Powers, such as the Felixstowe F.2A, Zeppelin Staaken R.VI, and Caproni Ca.4!

Flight of the Giants is not a complete game. A copy of at least Famous Aces, Watch your Back!, Burning Drachens, or WWI Deluxe is required to play.

Wings of War Game Mat: West Section

Wings of War Game Mats can be used as scenario maps for reconnaissance and bombing missions, or as convenient table coverings to enhance your Wings of War experience, immersing you deeper in the rich tapestry of epic duels and heroic effort that took place in the skies during World War I, the birthplace of aerial combat. The mats are large, 98 x 68cm (38.6 x 26.8in), about the size of an average poster, made of a durable rubber foam with fabric bonded to the top, similar to a mouse pad.

The mats can be used separately or combined with the other half to create a larger battlefield.
