Following last sessions catalogue of misadventure & inappropriate heroism, we find  we find Constable Laura running from a horde of the Lord of Farnsworths men backed up only by Fran & a stolen sword she can't use & barely carry......

Will this end well or will Constable Bob Currently lost on the paper trail at  the offices of the Amn Valley Housing Association  have to clear up the mess alone.......

The Lord of Farnsworth slept badly the sleep of the dead his mind disturbed by the mind he had touched briefly at the Court the previous night when his new vassals  in this strange land came to him bringing gifts of the unrighteous on whom to feed him and his sons of the night. The raid he presumed by the forces of an other Vampire troubled him less, he had expected it he was prepared and had bought more than enough men at arms to fight all but an army even without raising the array from his new lands. But the mind that was a worry mortal & yet draped in power the like of which he had never yet seen.... He stirred rolled over and was awake again aware of the sounds of action & alarm outside.  This was it the attack, that followed the raid, sooner than expected but he new what to do & he leapt from his bed rousing his sons to action......

Fran swore, as she saw Laura haring towards her, a heavy scabbarded war sword cuddled to her like an ill-favoured but favourite child, pursued by the the angry man in the nightshirt. Knife in hand glittering in the autumn sun, grim faced full of hate.  She heard  familiar the sound of soldiers waking suddenly from a deep sleep and readying for action, adrenaline pumping through tired bodys. Fran breathed out slid the heavy knife out from within the folds of her coat & breathed out as flames flickered eagerly along the blade, and she  stood ready to hold her ground and fight.
