nor me yours old chap - however I may get a bit behind as I have a massive amount of commission terrain for dystopian wars  to build and I am only posting this because every flat surface in my work room is covered with drying bits of it. not to mention the vegetable trays of work in progress stuff.

Just posted a lot of shots of my recently painted British guns and mortars on my blog:

http://dhcwargamesblog.wordpress.com/2014/03/14/wwii-british-mortars-and-guns-analogue-hobbies-painting-challenge-entry-11/

All are 28mm and either vintage Bolt Action, Warlord Games or Artizan Miniatures.

Enjoy,

Burkhard

P.S.: And a pre-view (lots more clickable pictures on the blog):

Very cool the original figures done for the precursor to Bolt Action, Rules of engagement are rather nice even more so when painted up as well as those.

Thanks Ginger.

Right now we are playing with "The Face of Battle" rules. But we are looking at the Battlegroup series.

I would also strongly recommend the Chain of Command rules from the TwofatLardiies and the at the Sharp End Campaign supplement

We have looked at CoC, but their set up mechanic does not allow us to play prepared scenarios from books like SkirmishCampaigns (which we love) and that the rules do not really work without it. Embarrassed

I am sure you can there was some talk on the lardie forum about it as I recall. I have not had the chance to try this out for myself as I have distinctly limited opportunities to wargame thought I have played a couple of solos and one on rolld20

Let's see! I once asked if it was possible to do without this activation on TMP or another forum and poeple (IIRC even one of the Lardies) indicated that this would not work.  Huh?

Just posted pictures of my finished M5 halftracks for my WWII Brits, this time from the Guards AD:

http://dhcwargamesblog.wordpress.com/2014/03/20/wwii-british-m5-half-tracks-analogue-hobbies-painting-challenge-entry-13/

Vehicles are by Warlord Games, passengers (only for one halftrack so far) by Victory Force Miniatures.

And then there is the entry for the last theme round... a dismounted Union cavalry trooper:

Just posted the pictures of my two finished troops of Irish Guards Shermans on my blog:

http://dhcwargamesblog.wordpress.com/2014/03/27/two-troops-of-irish-guards-shermans-yes-in-28mm/
(There are tons and tons of clickable pictures on the post!)

Yes, these are 28mm not 15mm! :-D

All models are Tamiya, with one from Hobby Boss. Crews are by Warlord Games.

Enjoy,

Burkhard

P.S.: And here is the mandatory pre-view (as I said... lots more on the blog):
