Hi Gang,

Please provide Contact Details, Location, facilities, website links (if available) and any other comments you have about the venue.

Always made to feel welcome in this cosy local pub, there is a side room that is bookable but it is popular so book early. Serves really good Real Ales as well as Cider/Perry.
The owners are extremely friendly as well as the drinkers, the noise levels are generally good, though more than one game in the side room would need to be managed carefully as it would get cosy.

All In all a really good location to play games in.

Another local Burton Pub that is gamer friendly, several areas within the pub that provide a suitable place to setup games. This pub is tied to the Burton Bridge Brewery which provides some excellent ale, it also has regular guest ales on tap as well.

I am part of the lefthandrule gaming group and we have been going to this pub now for several years and with several changes of ownership. I have to say that each time we have always been warmly welcomed and have found nothing but a friendly atmosphere everytime we have played there. They are once again serving food, which is of good quality and reasonably priced. There is a good selection of ale and plenty of space in which to play games.

A really good place to play.

Okay I realize that the majority of users are nowhere near me, so I must be posting this just out of spite!

It's a bar. No it's even better than that, it's a tavern.
They serve hot food!
They serve alcohol!
And you can play your games without people staring at you!

Hope to give a first hand experience of this place soon, as I just heard about it from a fellow gamer.

Open 12-12, usually quiet on a Sunday or Monday night, avoid Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights as there are already events on these nights.
Food times: Wednesday 6-10pm, Thursday 6-10pm, Friday 6-10pm, Saturday 12-4pm, Sunday 12-5pm

We've run games nights the last couple of Mondays and they have been very accommodating, though on occasion the pub can be noisy. This pub is a Dancing Duck Brewery pub, so the ales and ciders are excellent. The food's not very adventurous, but it's cheap, plentiful and very, very good quality.

There are events on Mondays and Thursdays, but these may not affect gaming - see below.
Food times: Monday - Thursday 11.30am - 2.30pm, Friday & Saturday 11.30am - 5.00pm, Sunday 12.00 noon - 3.00pm

This was our venue for D6+Beer! and they allowed us to use their small, upstairs function room - The Boardroom - for free, which could accommodate up to three large games at a time. The larger function room was £30 for the evening.

Our new home for D6+Beer! and a very friendly and helpful pub attached to relative newcomer, the Shiny Brewery. We run events here on the third Thursday of the month, but there's nothing to say you can't play games there at other times. There is a regular 'Geekeasy' event, so best to check when the next one is on at http://www.geekeasy.co.uk/. Lovely atmosphere and a pleasure to be there.

There's no regular food here, but they sometimes have barbecues, or cobs on the bar.
