It's quiet on this site isn't it.  Where's all the banter?

The banter is currently on Dave (well it is the home of witty banter).

It's also part of the Dave conspiracy.

Well I created the forum, I invited the people to visit and join but I can not force them to chat.

I have a growing user base and I try my best to keep filling areas with relevant and useful information in the hopes that others will be inspired and follow suit.

It's a community, people will lurk others will shout we can only do so much. Now I have a proper web address and hosting I can more widely advertise my presence. I am already found via google. Eventually I will create a web site to provide a friendly front end to the forum.

The fact that a lot of members here also use meetup where a lot of the games are organised means a lot of chat goes on there which will not always be duplicated here. This is a site for anyone to use not just the local gaming group so hopefully as word spreads I will get more general users who will see this a a friendly place to sop by and chat about their favourite topics.

I would like to find and invite all the old users of my Bulletin Board from years back but that seems an unlikely goal, but you never know they may stray across here and say hi... I live in hope  Grin

I do add the Burton Games to the calender here, I occasionally forget but mostly I do.

I hope it does not exclude anyone and where appropriate I do try and repeat useful information on here, I just don't want to replace existing channels just supplement them and bring them to a wider audience whilst building a niche for myself.

I have to admit to being a bit of a lurker.  This is due to

  • My humour does not come through in type
  • I am sure I am very boring Sleepy2
  • I am sure no one likes me Sad

I have tried to be talkative on other gaming sites, but always felt the above; so now I lurk in the rare moments I get time.
