Additionally, players will have the chance to fight against the Shadow in a Fellowship event for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game and whet their appetites in the inaugural tournaments for two of our hottest new games, Android: Netrunner and X-Wing™!
Then, this November 9th – 11th, the world’s best players will converge upon the Fantasy Flight Games Event Center in Roseville, MN for the FFG World Championship Weekend. We’re thrilled to host this hallmark event, we’re excited by the games soon to become a part of Organized Play, and we look forward to hosting the inaugural World Championship tournaments for Android: Netrunner, Dust Warfare, and X-Wing, along with the World Championships for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, and Dust Tactics.

FFG World Championship Weekend
Over the past several years, Fantasy Flight Games Organized Play has expanded outward from its roots in Roseville, MN to span the globe. This year marked our biggest and most international tournament season ever, with Regional Championship events for four games spread across five continents.

The battles and intrigues of Westeros come to life at Days of Ice and Fire.
As the attendance of our championship-level events has grown, we have looked for a way to better showcase the best players for our LCGs and miniatures games at a venue where we could best focus our attention on the world-class participants of these events. Moving our FFG World Championship Weekend to Roseville, Minnesota allows us to focus our energies more fully, ensuring that participants will enjoy greater support for the games they love. We can provide more time, more staff, and more undivided energy to this event. Furthermore, we have secured extra space in the same building as the Fantasy Flight Games Event Center, ensuring room for hundreds of attendees, and we expect it to be an exciting, positive, and memorable experience for participants in all our championship events:
The FFG World Championship Weekend is your chance to meet hundreds of enthusiastic fans, including Regional Champions from around the globe, and to participate in the thrilling, top-level play of our Organized Play World Championship tournaments. Registration is already open, so book your ticket today.

Fantasy Flight Games Organized Play is building a brighter future, and the 2012 North American and World Championship events are destined to bring a fantastic finish to a record-breaking tournament season!
