There are many ways to pack a punch, and though the SSU may not be the leader in VK research, they are still a incredible force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. The Red Guards Command Squad and the Red Guards Anti-Tank Squad are two new, heavily armed infantry squads and the IS-5 is a new tank with two powerful configurations.
Red Guards Command Squad Expansion
These Red Guards bring a hefty amount of firepower to the battlefield on top of the usual abilities that a command squad brings. In addition to being able to call in artillery strikes and revive other units, these soldiers are also sporting UGLs and a PTRS-47. Command the field and blow away your enemies when necessary with the powerful and highly versatile Red Guards Command Squad.
Red Guards Anti-Tank Squad Expansion
This heavily armed infantry unit is focused on one thing: firepower. With two units equipped with PTRS-47 bazookas, enemy tanks won’t stay standing for long, and three rounds of UGLs also contribute to this unit’s destructive power. These soldiers are ready to tear through tanks and blast through enemy cover alike as they blast their way through the battlefield.
IS-5 Heavy Tank Expansion
The SSU may be behind the Axis and the Allies when it comes to VK-driven technology, but that hasn’t made their more traditional approach to tank engineering any less potent on the battlefield. The IS-5 Heavy Tank has two configurations. Both can take on six Tank Riders and are touting three DShK 12,7 mm guns.
IS-5 A “Mao Zedong”
With its focus on blasting your enemies out of the sky, the Mao Zedong is equipped with a Quad 85 mm AA Gun, a powerful piece of hardware that can also be deadly to your earthbound targets.
IS-5 B “Vladimir Lenin"
If you’re after the classic SSU style of a tough tank with artillery power, then look no further than the Vladimir Lenin. It sports a monstrous 252 mm Field Mortar. Pair this juggernaut with the new Red Guards Command Squad, and you’re sure to reduce your opponents to rubble from anywhere on the field.
